Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is Bridge2Things Automation Process GmbH, Annagasse 6 - 3rd floor, 1010 Vienna, Austria.

Email: kontakt@bridge2things.at · Telephone: +43 664 99301538

2. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies. It uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party advertising services. No consent banner is required because nothing is stored on or read from your device.

3. Server log files

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you access the site, the hosting provider automatically records technical data in server log files, including your IP address, the requested page, the referring page, the date and time of the request, and your browser and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to maintain its security and stability. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is retained by the hosting provider for a limited period and is not combined with other data by us.

4. Contact by email and the enquiry form

The enquiry form on this website does not transmit anything. It prepares a draft message in your own email application, which you then choose to send or discard. No data from the form reaches us unless you send that email yourself.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the contact relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Business correspondence and records relevant to accounting are retained for seven years in accordance with Austrian commercial and tax law. Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted once they are no longer needed.

6. Recipients and third parties

We only share personal data with trusted third parties when necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations. All third parties are required to adhere to GDPR standards. Personal data is never sold.

Our hosting provider acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Where processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, it is safeguarded by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7. Data security

We use strict security measures, including encryption in transit, regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel, and data minimisation, so that only necessary data is collected.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

Right of access: you can request access to the personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification: you can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Right to erasure: you can request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").

Right to data portability: you can request a copy of your data in a portable format.

Right to restrict processing: you can request limitations on how your data is processed.

Right to object: you can object to data processing for specific purposes.

Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at kontakt@bridge2things.at or at Annagasse 6 - 3rd floor, 1010 Vienna, Austria.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at) if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.

10. Updates to this policy

We will update this policy as needed, for example when our services or the applicable law change. The current version always applies and is published on this page.

Contact us at kontakt@bridge2things.at for any inquiries.
